It was a very sad morning waving off our group, they have entertained us well this week, they left us some great comments in the guest book which I thought I would share with you all
"I am almost at a lose for words........almost a year wait for the sail of a lifetime - and worth every second! As beautiful the scenery, as blue the water, as white as the sand - your hospitality will be what I most remember. I consider you dear friends for life. Many, many thanks"
"Thanks for a wonderful trip, one we won't forget. I'm sure you won't forget us!"
"Unforgettable trip...... except for the parts that are a bit hazy! Thanks so much for your hospitality! We had an amazing time!"
"Thanks for the memorable trip! You will always have a place in our hearts knowing we were engaged on your boat, We hadf an amazing, breath taking adventure"
You are all to kind guys!
So on to the big clean, the restocking and awaiting our corporate men for tomorrow!

Sad farewell to our booze cruise!
Bon voyage and thanks for all the bloody mary mix!
A few last pictures I took last night, we managed to get 2 stow aways, they were fun so we kept them, they were quickly indoctrinated to the good ship Promenade as only we can...........

Some took the chance to have a quick nap and catch up ready for Foxys

So it was on to Foxys for the best BBQ I have had in the islands, it was my first time ever eating at Foxys!
Some made new friends in Foxys

Some entertained the kids

So how did they do with that mountain of booze you may wonder, the main thing left over is 14 bottles of bloody mary mix, but not much vodka to go with it, 2 bottles of Kahlua and a lot of water bottles! Not bad for a weeks work! I have enough bloody mary mix for the next 2 years I think!

Last day, so go big!
Our Group had a great day out in Anegada and didn’t make it back till it was dark. This is what me and Rich did, it’s a hard life on Promenade………

You may remember the picture of all the alcohol that arrived on the boat at the beginning of the week, they have made a serious dent in most of it, but some bits were not being touched, I had a crazy idea of a way to get rid of some of it, they have a lot of vodka, kahlua and baileys……… those of you who know me know where I am going with that! BUSHWAKERS! 7 pitchers later and the baileys is gone, a big dent in the kahlua and vodka! A cunning plan I think you will agree!
Those of you who know Bushwakers, also know the result of 7 pitchers……..

The guests always keep us entertained

And a new one for me, knee wrestling

It was a fun night!
An early start today to make it to Jost, a lot were up early, but it was nice and flat for those wanting to sleep in. The fishing lines came out and we had a lot of success, a few stinky barracudas

And better than that a big old mackerel, that was about lunch size!
k
Our motor took us to White Bay, Jost Van Dyke

where we will be hanging out for the afternoon before a sunset sail to Foxys for dinner!

Sparkles in Anegada!
We are in Anegada for a few days, so not much internet, I have had to go out for lobster salad lunch and pay $20 just for the privilege of getting slow, intermittent internet! I am starting to sound like Kerry! The lobster salad was pretty good though!
A first for me and Richie on the boat, some one got ENGAGED!!!!! aaahhhhh! Here they are the happy couple (and sparkly!)

How exciting, I think I was more excited than they were and what a sparkle that is!
Any how, back to the other stuff, I left you at Bitter end, I have a few more pictures from there as we went on a photo expedition the next morning, heres one for my mum and Kerry's mum, they both love the flowers!

Jenn gets some great pictures and looks for the arty shots, what ever that requires, I thought she was having a nap

But she was after a shot something like this

We also ran into a bad penny that keeps turning up, Bill, one of Richies friends from the UK, good eye candy according to the girls!

Our new Captain has done so well he gets the official hat now

and finally some good luck on the fishing, but some one kept throwing them all back in, we lost a tuna and mackrel, but landed the jack!!

The group love Anegada, Jenn has wanted to come here for 10 years, you can see why

Last night they ate under the stars with their toes in the sand at Anegada reef hotel and sampled the lobster, they were all quite impressed, heres the motley crew coming back, I could hear them a long time before I could see them!

I want to be a cowboy, baby!

That brings us to today, a busy morning was had by all, Ron had to shave

Some had to test out the power lounger

and some went exploring

The whole group has now gone for an explore of the island, with an ice box full of beer, I am sure they will have a tale to tell by the time they get back!

Another hectic day!
Yesterday morning was a slow, easy start, breakfast was devoured and I had 4 victims who wanted to try a scuba dive and what rock stars they were!

While we were diving some headed over to Marina Cay for a bit of retail therapy, cigars and a picture of the British phone box!!

A steady sail took us over to the Baths

Most of our group went for a play and explore, Ron stayed back on the boat to guard the booze from Pirates!
We got our selves a new captain and a fine job he did too

Some took the time to savor a cigar, have a drink and watch the fishing poles, another thing that always need guarding

and my kind of snack, cheese!

We got into Bitter end around sunset, time for a shower and then off out for dinner, to Saba Rock it has been strange for me not cooking at all this week, but I think I could quite easily get used to it!

After dinner we took a stroll around the vast Island, didn’t take long as those of you who have been before will know! Richie found the pussy cat hanging out having some peace and quiet

Every one found the hammocks

Jenn found herself a pirate!

back to the boat, a few drinks to be had and some took a nap

A few random pictures I found on Jenn's camera from Willy T's the other night

and a cool one from Salt Island

The adventure continues!
We had quite a long sail yesterday morning, it was relaxing and quiet for every one, gave every one a chance to recover a bit, some made no pretense at all and just went back to bed!
We had our emergency rations ready as they should be at all times

And some discovered new ways of carrying those clothes pins!

We finally ended up at Salt Island, the group wanted a sandy beach to play Frisbee and collect shells and sea glass, our intrepid explorers packed themselves some rations (the cooler full of beer and a couple bottles of liquor) and off they boldly went for a beach afternoon

I popped off for a sneaky dive, Salt is always one of my favorites and I saw a new fish I have never seen before, a Jack knife fish, very pretty indeed

also had a big old barracuda come and check me out, he was hanging underneath a cat behind our boat and swam right down to me, circled a few times and then went back underneath the other boat!
A great afternoon was had on the beach, it was then a trip over to Marina Cay and we are ready for cocktail hour and Beans

No idea what Richie is up to…….

Cute picture

Our blow hard Jenn getting some practice in……….

We tried some afternoon coaching of our crew to give them the answers to Beans Pirate trivia questions, so they can get the free shots of rum, apparently they have no memory retention and we had to give them all the answers again, but they all won a fair few shots

We never made it as far as the conch blowing contest, I think Jenn would have had it too, but every one was hungry, so we had a great dinner at Marina Cay, then some inventive fishing when we got back to the boat, they landed a mullet, but nothing much was interested in the pizza they were fishing with!! Funny that!
Funny comment I heard yesterday from the night before, “wow, the moon is so close here and so small†it turned out to be the anchor light up the mast! Bless!!

2 rounds of the Shots game and the bikini bottoms are lost for ever!
The boys had a go at fishing on our sail yesterday, nothing caught but you’ve got to have the lines out to stand a chance

We managed to fit some snorkeling in yesterday, a stop at the Indians and the caves, no treasure to be found again!

Greasing up the moustache for snorkeling with some Vaseline

It was then on to the Bight for our evening entertainment, Rich suggested to jenn (chief ring leader of general naughtiness!) that the shots game could be fun, she liked the sounds of it, so out came round 1!
Steve did really bad, or good, depends how you look at it, which ever, he had more than his share of shots and everything
had to have the cream whip on the top!

Jenn also got a lot of shots, could be something to do with the dice?

And Ron kept ending up with the naughty shot glass, which he wasn’t amused by!

It was then on to round 2! There was no stopping them! A whole bottle of absinthe later, they were off for dinner at Willy T’s, some stayed there for a while and some came back to the boat to party, I hear there was some swimming, conch blowing, lost rings and bikini bottoms!
The ring we could do something about and after a lovely 30 minute dive, Richy found the ring, I saw sting rays and shrimp and gobis! What a start to the morning! No sign of the bikini bottoms though!
Another hearty breakfast and we are off for the morning, heading who knows where, just watch out if you see the Promenade this week! The bloody marys are flowing……..

We are off with the Iowa breaking winds!
An early blog today as I am guessing we won’t have internet tonight, but thought I would give you a quick up date!
Our guests arrived last night for there sleep over before their charter started today, we got them settled in, potty trained and then we left them to fend for themselves while we headed to town to run errands or hide which ever way you look at it! By the time we got home, I think they had figured everything out and were managing quite well

I got a message from one of the Pirate girls this morning, she had been looking at the blog and thought with that much alcohol onboard the boat and the crew running for cover, there could only be one reason, the rest of the Pirate girls had come to Promenade with out her! I reassured her they hadn’t, but they are now intrigued about this group and think may be they might have to meet up with them, now that would be a charter, Pirate girls V our Iowa breaking winds! (there choice of name!)
This morning, every one was up and shopping early, they were cooking breakfast by 9:30, breakfast of champions bacon and eggs!
Rich gave everyone the chat on how to hang your wet stuff, so it doesn’t end up on the floordrobe all week in a wet soggy pile, he used his xmas thong to demonstrate

Ron was a bit scared about what he had got himself in to at that point, Rich was there to reassure him though!

Not sure if Ron felt any better, they should all be happy they haven’t seen Rich wearing it, doesn’t cover a lot and you don’t see much of the thong!
So off we go, our crew set sail for Norman, out came the spinnaker and our new intrepid sailors pulling it up

Some of the crew guarded the table while encouraging the sail pullers
The music is on, it is like having Kerry back onboard, country tastic and me and Rich singing along as we know all the words!!! and we are off for a snorkle, a bit of mayhem and the plan for later is........ Willy T's so watch out for the blog from there!

Sad farewell to our family and a scary intro to the next group!
Last morning for our family, it was a sad farewell, I will miss them all, I got a snuggle with my Princess, so did Richie, she was more interested in pulling his chest hair though!! Good girl! Got a hug from my girls, a squirt from the water pistol from the boys, Wes was good and put some pants on to leave the boat, bet that won't last long! What a great week, lots of fun, they had a great time too and left us some great comments in the guest book, thought I would share with you:
"Lisa, Rich and bruce, what a great week! Some of us showed up late due to snow storms in USA - but you certainly made up for it with all the fun, hospitality, great food and your gracious personalities. We could not have asked for more........maybe the apple streusel hmmmmmmm, I know what I am having for breakfast! You made a great week for all ages. This is a vacation that is hard to top"
"Thanks, I had the best time. Lisa cooks the best. Richie is a great sport. Bruce was a lot of fun"
"The family had an amazing time... we were able to relax and get some good family time, even though Wes was naked most of the time! We look forward to a return trip sometime"
"Dear Lisa, Bruce, Richy, Lisa you are great at cards and is the best chef in the world. You are my BFF. Bruce you taught me how to dance and we made a secret hand shake. You are my buddy. Richy you are a ball of fun! You make a big splash when you jump off the boat. You can be mean sometimes when you put ice down Wesleys diaper! You are a great friend!"
"Thank you all, you made the trip tons of fun, I wouldn't change anything about the trip (except more of Lisa's food!!) I had a great great time!"
This is just a selection actually, we got 4 pages, thanks guys and gals you are all very kind and I think we had as much fun with you guys as you had with us, we will miss you all!
That brings me to today, the usual scrubbing and cleaning is going on, the deliveries arrived for our next group, no food but this......

and there is about the same again on the dock! What kind of mayhem are we in for next week!

Last day, so you better go big!
Some photos from last night before we went out for dinner

A great family shot till Richie decided to gate crash

Great meal out, always good when I’m not cooking!
That brings us to today, the last day of the charter so every one has to go big and do everything they can possibly fit in, they were all off swimming and playing in the water this morning, followed by a stop at Foxys for a look see and they were lucky as Foxy was there and actually singing, I haven’t heard him sing in forever, so they had a great time there.
We had 2 new captains being romantic to guide us into the island chain for some water and pull toy fun this afternoon

we got lucky and had some fishy action along the way

The banana boat came out

And willow hung out looking cool and watching the mayhem!

Cabin available on May 16th sailing
Hey all, I have ONE cabin open on a 7 night sailing (not 6! so a really good deal) on May 16th through 23rd. It is for two people and the cost is $ 1650.00 per person inclusive.. The other 4 couples are great on this trip and have been on many happy charters with us!
Its hot like summer, so lots of water stuff!
On our sail the other night, we managed to finally land an edible fish this season! A fantastic mackerel, heres Grand pa giving Bruce a hand sorting it out for us

Today is “Crazy teeth dayâ€! now what could that entail I wonder

We had an adventure at the caves, but no treasure to be found today, one day we will find it

Princess had a nap while all that went on

But woke up when every one got back and there was fun to be had with mum

We got us a 2 new captains, if they could see over the steering wheel I am sure the straight line would have been easier!

Is my sun screen rubbed in?

The afternoon filled with fun at White bay, watching the tiny turtles popping up around the boat and may hem with the inflatables on the beach

They managed to hitch a lift back with Richie and we got the youngest ever predator rider, go Willow!

Another fabulous day in the BVI
I found Wesley having breakfast with his new bear called aptly “bear†this morning, it sings and everything

My morning shot of Princess with grand pa after her breakfast, cute as always

This morning was carnage, we headed to “man head point†for a beautiful snorkel, James has a new job aboard the boat, he is the champion line swimmer ashore, here he is in his Hasselhoff pose

Then out came the inflatable toys that the grand parents brought and what a lot of fun they are, Rich got attacked by the crocodile

Wes gave the turtle a dry run

But got a little more adventurous and for nearly a minute he got in the water in the turtle, yeah go Wes!

Then it was the Princesses turn, she loved the turtle and floated for a while with dad

More of the carnage

Then it was on to the banana boat, picture for the coast guard!

Wes had a small go

And the inevitable result

It was silly sunglasses day today, not sure what that involved

Even my princess joined in after nap time

Lunch was out at Cooper for the group and a steady afternoon sail is taking us towards Treasure Island! Argggghhhhhh!

shopping, sailing and swimming - what more could you ask for!
I never learn with the blog and I have just lost my entire entry due to safari freezing - aaahhhh! I even wrote it in "word" Kerry but I didn't save it as it was all up loading, again aaaahhhhh! Now the internet is not cooperating so a late post again!
Oh well, here we go see if this one is more successful! So, it was an early night for our guests last night they had been traveling a long time to get here, we wore them out during the day, so off to bed early, so we could have an early start this morning! It was the usual pre breakfast swim, after breakfast we headed off to Bitter end and Saba rock for some exploring, Princess was happy with that plan

Here she is with Grand ma, but she looks a little wobbly! May be less rum next time

Saba was a big hit too, the aquarium was explored

The hammocks tested

and the grand parents found a nice quiet place, well until every one found them that is!

It was then back to the boat for some big cuddles for some of us

and some fast sailing, lots of wind at the moment and with our new Captain, who is doing a fine job, much warmer than sailing at home apparently

The kids found a cool place to hang out during the sail

The Baths were a little swelly, but not enough to stop our intrepid explorers, although some hung out on the boat and relaxed

A final sail with some munchies took us to Salt where we will be spending the night

We finally have all our crew - yeah!
No internet last night, so late entry for yesterday! so here we go.......
While the guests did the dishes last night (it’s a Captain only charter, we haven’t become mean!) and in order to assist them, Rich held the baby, they got on really well together

Heres the gang with all the space on the boat for breakfast this morning before the rest of the group arrive

And my Princess sporting jammies and sunglasses, again she looks good

We headed to Trellis and finally got to meet the rest of our group, they made it here safe and sound, but not without a few problems at the airport!! Rich went to collect them while I made some lunch, figured they would probably be hungry after the flights here

While waiting for every one to arrive Bruce took a leaf out of Willows book and had a quick cat nap

We were anchored next to Brad, mine and Richie’s first ever deck hand, here’s his boat for those of you who know him!

So with every one finally aboard, off we go to make up for the time they have missed, we set sail and headed north towards Bitter end, it was a beautiful sail, finally finishing up at Eustacian and the beach, which the kids hated!! not
