I have been promising a blog post for awhile on here, after all, I have some great sunset pictures with my NEW FISH EYE lens (to replace the one I flooded in my housing...) that I picked up last time I was here.
Promenade sat nicely in its dock space at Puerto Del Rey for the few weeks everyone was gone..

Look how neat Lindsey and Felix left it! And dry as a bone with Bazzas de humidifying system.

The nice new Ralphs grocery store had opened right up there on the hwy in Fajardo, it is nice and large. Of course I went shopping. I also went to Costco shopping. Even though I was only going to be there ten days or so!

I also managed to make it out for Mexican...Lolita's just gets busier every time we are there...

Gosh they even had someone there on Saturday night playing the mexican version of the BVIs Yellow Bird on the Steel Drums I am sure. Loudly. As Spanish culture is.

See? I must have thought I was going on charter as I managed to fill up the fridge..

And then we motored (not sailed) back to the Virgin Islands..Now you get lots of pictures of pretty sails and sky...

and maybe a few sunsets...

After a fairly quick run, Cane Garden Bay came into view...

and, with impeccable timing, we managed to make it their for the BVI Music Fest. Sunday appeared to be fairly quiet there. I think Rum Punches were going 2 for $3.00 actually!

Bet you have never seen my husband wear this shirt on charter. Apparently it is his going to customs and checking in shirt! He looked nice...

I found Salt Island for awhile..It was as gorgeous as always!

Salt Island draws me in. Draws my soul. I believe it will always be my favorite spot on this earth. Please don't develop it anyone!

We spent about a week in the islands. I FINALLY FINALLY got a new mailbox key (never mind that we double paid for new keys, $60.00 plus the lock changing!) after three months I could finally pick up my mail. Which I think some of my suppliers thought was helpful in paying our bills. We had "town type" stuff to do. Banks and the like. Sigh. And the whole thing was over with before I knew it, and I was heading back to Puerto Rico. We had planned on staying down there until charters started in June, but plans changed..things broke...and I have another business (like I need another one!) that I am working on up here, so we headed back to PR..

Felix and Lindsey will be back down to the boat this weekend to finish getting it ready for charter..(and maybe fix a couple things we broke) and I want you to note this statement...for the first time in a long time, we will not be the ones cleaning up the boat and taking it back to the islands! We will meet it in the Virgins before charter.
Bazza has finally understood me when I have said " I am NO longer going to be the one moving the boat back and forth and doing all the heavy work" I will happily do SCUBA (as long as I can take pictures..) and tell stories on charter and cook some of the meals...but we have been training Felix and Lindsey to run charters for awhile now, and if we never let them do it and try and keep our mouths shut, it will never happen. Yes, don't worry, we will still be there, just backing off a bit..Yeah, like my friends know me and THAT is likely to happen! But I am going to try.
I spent about 3-4 hours in this spot while moving at the front anchor. I loved it. I thought "this is the first time I have ever done this in 14 years on the boat." I thought I better learn to smell the flowers a bit more.

And this is my face as I was thinking at the time how much I was enjoying it...

Now, those who know me may wonder what I did with all that Costco food etc I stuffed the boat with before coming up here again. Absolutely nothing. For the first time ever I also made my husband NOT turn the fridge off before we went away. I figured, it was only a week before crew got there..What could possibly happen. Famous last words. There are probably plastic bags going over all the water intake for the fridge/freezer systems as I type!
